Baltimore Gas and Electric (BGE) is installing new underground equipment between the Westport and Wilkens Avenue electric substations. This reliability project is being completed to help meet customers’ future electricity needs and make it possible to quickly restore power in the event of an outage.
Assedo Consulting is providing an on-site Outreach Specialist to aid the project team with proactive education of the residential and business stakeholders nearest to the project construction activities. Additionally, our Outreach Manager is implementing a comprehensive outreach strategy including coordination with community and business leaders, elected officials, City agencies, environmental agencies, as well as the project construction team. Our outreach supports the team in meeting permit requirements and mitigation needs within the project area.
