Baltimore is working to invigorate and invite young professionals and families to the City. The Complete Streets initiative creates a roadway network that is available for people of all ages and physical abilities traveling by foot, bicycle, car, or transit.
Assedo Consulting scheduled and facilitated a series of meetings with 13 communities in South Baltimore to solicit input on roadway conditions, impediments to safe travel, community needs, landscaping, transit amenities and access. This information guided the master plan document providing DOT with a series of smaller projects that can be implemented to create a future network of safe and inviting complete streets.
