Following the cancellation of the Red Line transit project, Baltimore City DOT began looking for options for the benefit of all travel modes to make the best possible use of the Boston Street corridor. This study was designed to identify improvements and develop concepts for incorporating transit, freight, automobile, pedestrian, and bicycle accommodations into the Boston Street Corridor from Fleet Street to I-95. The corridor serves a vital role in connecting residential, commercial and employment destinations from Downtown, Harbor East, Fells Point, Canton and Brewer’s Hill to the I-95 corridor and points east.
Specific tasks included managing advisory group and public meeting logistics, developing a project newsletter, coordinating the development of the public survey, reviewing outreach materials and document findings from the meetings.
