Position: Technical Writer

Responsibilities: I am responsible to the creation, updating, and maintaining of various pieces of public outreach materials such as letters, postcards, door hangers, fact sheets, frequently asked questions sheets, and PowerPoint presentations. I also assist with the distribution of technical documents as necessary, occasionally attend public informational meetings, and capture meetings minutes during external project team meetings.

Why Assedo? I have lived much of my life in Baltimore and nearby communities and believe that our work helps make Baltimore a better place to live. We strive to develop a positive relationship with Baltimore neighborhoods during our projects and believe in giving back to our community.

Background: I received my bachelor’s degree in communications/journalism from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania in December 2013. Throughout my career, I have specialized in technical writing, document quality control, data entry, and the creation and updating of training materials and other collateral documents.
