The Prince George's County Planning Departments last approved Master Plan for transportation was completed in 2009.  That plan focused on identifying methods to address the regional congestion challenges by looking at all forms of transportation that could be improved to create a more comprehensive solution.  Since 2009, there have been numerous advancements in transportation which need be incorporated into the overall transportation solution for the County and then codified in an updated Countywide Master Plan of Transportation.
