Position: Planner I

Responsibilities: I assist with communicating and aiding public engagement efforts for urban and community projects. This includes preparing mailings, creating maps using GIS, coordinating meeting logistics and meeting notes, and reviewing technical documents. My goal is to keep the public informed every step of the way.

Why Assedo? I chose Assedo because I wanted to be a part of a team that values diversity and inclusivity. The work that I do at Assedo allows me to use my background to aid in planning processes that help serve underserved communities. We need companies like Assedo to ensure that when projects happen in our communities, our community members’ voices are heard and valued.

Background: I graduated from Rutgers University with a BS in Urban Planning and Design. Over my academic career, I had a concentration in environmental planning, social justice and community development and revitalization.
