Reimagine Middle Branch Fellow
April Smith is a graduate student in the City and Regional Planning Program at Morgan State University and a 2021 Reimagine Middle Branch Fellow working with Assedo Consulting. In addition to being a student, April works at Towson University where she serves as the Assistant Director of Residence Life. Before arriving at TU, she obtained her Master of Education degree in Student Personnel in Higher Education (University of Florida).
As a student affairs professional and aspiring city planner/community developer April has been committed to developing student leaders and building equitable communities. She values innovation, efficiency, and authenticity.
Fun Fact: I collect elephants and house plants! At this point, I own more than 40 house plants total.
