Position: Technical Writer

Responsibilities: My primary duties include writing materials that best convey the intended message and tone of our clients. I accomplish this by drafting fact sheets, outreach plans, newsletters, email blasts, and social media posts. I also act as an outreach liaison and strive to ensure that our clients’ target audiences are given the assistance they deserve.

Why Assedo? I enjoy my work because I feel empowered in amplifying communities that are often overlooked. The work we do at Assedo is important because we work with and for the communities that we serve.  

Background: I have a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Salisbury University and a Master of Science in Professional Writing from Towson University. I am a detailed communicator with experience in helping companies relate to diverse audiences through digital and printed writing. My studies and prior work experience has strengthened my skills in social media management, grant writing, technical writing, and public outreach.
