The Assedo team recently collaborated with the Prince George’s County Department of Public Works and Transportation (DPWT) to design and print maps for several Capital Bikeshare stations in Prince George’s County. The initiative has brought over 500 bike stations to Washington, DC and surrounding areas in Maryland and Virginia. Locals and visitors alike can join Capital Bikeshare for a fun, convenient, and affordable mode of transportation while navigating the region. The most recent Bikeshare panel installations took place at the Greenbelt Station Parkway & North Center Drive station on Thursday, June 24th.
Announcement panels publicizing Vision Zero, a Prince George’s County initiative to eliminate traffic injuries and deaths by 2040, were also installed in conjunction with informational Bikeshare panels. The panels detail the safest steps to keep in mind while walking, biking, or driving as individuals make their way through Prince George’s County and the surrounding areas.
