Ms. Matthews, is a seasoned and versatile Business Manager with over 20 years of experience in management and human resources. Ms. Matthews has extensive, hands-on experience leading HR initiatives in a variety of fields such as funeral homes, medical research, publishing and legal. Ms. Matthews has successful track record managing employee relationships, benefits, recruiting and training new employees, developing Human Resources handbooks and facilities management. She also has over 20 years of Accounting experience, responsible for accounts payable and accounts receivable for several small companies.

While attending Essex Community College to obtain a computer science degree, Ms. Matthews worked as an office manager for Unity Funeral Home. Acting as the liaison between the client and directors, Ms. Matthews earned a great reputation for producing high-quality work, as well as, increasing revenue.

After successfully earning her associate degree, Ms. Matthews focused on her business acumen and pursued a bachelor’s degree with the University of Maryland, College Park in Business Management while working as an office manager and assistant at National Institutes of Health.
Ms. Matthews is passionate about helping businesses make the most of their resources and talent. In addition to her full-time human resources position with Assedo, Ms. Matthew’s is a certified Nail Technician, proud wife and mother of two children.
